TurnHere has signed on as a sponsor of the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival and will power the streaming video trailers at the festival's online film guide at www.lafilmfest.com.

The Emeryville, Calif.-based online video production and distribution service has also expanded its roster of independent filmmakers to include more than 5,000 contractors in over 50 countries.

TurnHere taps its network of producers to craft short- and long-form online video content for advertisers. Current TurnHere clients include Simon & Schuster (for Bookvideos.tv), IAC's Citysearch and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts.
