Ogilvy Adds To Digital Ranks

Ogilvy New York on Wednesday said it is adding three senior-level executives to its ranks.

Robert Schwartz has joined as executive director for the digital dialogue practice and Chris Halsall is joining as senior partner, global managing director of marketing strategy. Both are new positions at the agency.

Also new to Ogilvy is Michael Dobak, who is joining as senior partner, worldwide executive marketing director, leading Ogilvy's growing brand communications efforts for IBM globally.

Schwartz is joining Ogilvy from Century 21 Real Estate, where he was vice president, national marketing, overseeing all advertising, Web site development, online marketing and call center management.

Halsall and Dobak will work on the agency's IBM business. Halsall will oversee global marketing strategy for IBM. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Halsall was with McKinsey & Company's Marketing Practice, and most recently, was a partner with the New York office of Prophet Brand Strategy.

Dobak is joining Ogilvy from Arnold, where he spent the past two years building its R&D Lab, and bringing in new clients, under Armor and Progressive.
