Davie Brown To Integrate Westin Into Media Placements

Westin hotelOmnicom's Davie Brown Entertainment will work with Westin hotels to search for branded integration opportunities for the chain in Hollywood and beyond.

Westin is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, which also operates the Sheraton and higher-tier St. Regis brands. Westin Hotels & Resorts has over 150 hotels and resorts in more than 31 countries and territories.

Los Angeles-based Davie Brown, which specializes in branded entertainment activation, will look to weave the Westin brand into films and television programming, as well as work on "industry influencer outreach."

For some time, the Westin brand has based much of its branding on its "Heavenly" bed -- something Davie Brown will look to exploit, in addition to the Heavenly collection of bath and home products.

"The realm of entertainment is a natural focus for Westin ... as we continue to grow our full-lifestyle brand," said Nancy London, a marketing executive at the chain. "Our consumers see entertainment as an integral part of their everyday lives."

Davie Brown, which executed a memorable integration of Staples in NBC's "The Office," will work on the account in both its Los Angeles and New York offices.
