Denny's Kicks Off Next Leg Of Casual Dining Push

  • July 9, 2008
Denny's, which is promoting casual dining over fast food, is launching the next leg of its "Don't Fall for Fake" campaign. The Spartanburg, SC company is asking for impersonations of the 2008 presidential candidates for the chance to win one free meal a month for a full presidential term.

The "America Votes for Real" effort asks consumers to upload their video impersonation of John McCain or Barack Obama this month to the Vote4Real channel on YouTube.

Consumers will vote for the best three impersonators for each candidate. The company is also offering a trip to Washington D.C. in January 2009 for the inauguration festivities. Registration is on Vote4Real.com.--Karl Greenberg
