Google Tuesday launched www.lively.com, a virtual world community that looks designed to compete with heavily hyped, but not so heavily trafficked Second Life. The project, which began as a Google
engineer's "20%" non-core business project, was unveiled officially in a post by Niniane Wang, Engineering Manager, on the Google Blog.
