United for Strength challenged and beat SAG's national board in guild voting. It won six of the 11 Hollywood seats, slamming by a thin margin, the Membership First faction, which loses control of the
organziation. UFS contended that MF had ruined negotiations with the major studios. Amy Brenneman and Adam Arkin were the top vote-gettings for the new faction.
