WPP Group, the parent of GroupM's MindShare, Mediaedge:cia, MediaCom, and agencies like JWT, Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R, is planning to relocate from the U.K. to Ireland due to changes in the British tax
code that make it prohibitive for multinational companies to be headquartered there, several European publications reported today. WPP is estimated to generate nearly 90% of its revenue from outside
the U.K., including a substantial portion from the U.S.
