Interactive agency Molecular has promoted Melanie Lowe to the position of vice president and managing director of its San Francisco office. Lowe becomes part of the agency's executive team, replacing Wei-Tai Kwok, who is taking an extended sabbatical.

Lowe joined Molecular through its acquisition of Asian-headquartered Ion Global, where she most recently served as director of operations in San Francisco.

Lowe brings 18 years of experience in marketing, program management and operations, the last nine of which have been spent with the company in various management roles based in Hong Kong, London and San Francisco.--Tanya Irwin
