Harmelin Media named Bernie Shimkus vice president of research. Shimkus, who works on all the agency's major accounts, including Aetna, BET, Ford and Comcast, is a 12-year company veteran. Prior to
Harmelin, he worked at FCB/Lewis Gilman & Kynett and Fox 29/Philadelphia. Harmelin Media, which specializes in strategic media solutions, is located outside Philadelphia.
