On-the-move renters looking for a new apartment now have a place to search possibilities on their mobile phone. Apartments.com has made its more than three million apartment listings from managed communities, private landlords and newspaper classifieds available to renters through any Web-enabled mobile device. Renters may now find their next apartment from the palm of their hand.

The site also offers a "Send2Phone" feature where renters can send information about an apartment listing from the Apartments.com Web site to their mobile phones as a text message. Renters who click the "Send2Phone" link on the "Property Details" page of Apartments.com are sent information on specific properties.

Today, nearly 40 million people browse the Mobile Web, which The Kelsey Group estimates will grow 19% annually to reach more than 90 million by 2012, according to Apartments.com.--Laurie Sullivan
