Southwest Dangles Fight Tix In Promo

  • October 31, 2008
If you're a fight fan, book a trip to Vegas on Southwest Airlines. Because unless you mow promoter Bob Arum's lawn or cut Don King's hair, you're not getting a ticket to see Oscar de la Hoya versus Manny Pacquiao on Dec. 6 any other way.

The rakish airline is--for a limited time only--selling tickets to the sold-out "Dream Match" fight to those buying a special vacation travel package to Sin City.

"Southwest Airlines is proud to be a sponsor of this great event, where two of the best contenders come together for an exciting night of boxing," said Laura Lopez, assistant manager of segment marketing for Southwest Airlines.

When customers buy a Las Vegas vacation package at www.southwestvacations.com/specials they can book flights and hotel accommodations for two or more nights, and have the option to buy the tickets via promotional code.

Customers must reserve their travel packages by Nov. 15 and travel by Dec. 6, 2008. The ticket prices: either $500 per ticket or $750. If you had to ask.--Karl Greenberg
