Nissan Is Pushing Back With Incentives

  • October 31, 2008
With sales off over 38% last month, the company is hoping to create some volume with a new incentive, the "Consumer Value Program." The deal includes 0% financing on five Nissan models and a $199-per-month lease offer on vehicles like the Altima sedan and Rogue compact crossover.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based U.S. sales arm of the Japanese automaker will roll out a national ad push to support with the tag: "Nissan Delivers" starting on Tuesday.

"We know that many consumers have done their research, have made the decision to buy a new vehicle, but are concerned about financing and finding the best value," said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing, NNA, in a release.--Karl Greenberg
