During the event--which features a host of green activities and green-themed TV shows--Subaru will get three 40-second vignettes running as part of featuring talent from the NBC series "Heroes," who give car-related "green" tips. The event this year began on Sunday during NBC's pre-game show "Football Night in America," and wraps up on Saturday with NBC's coverage of the Syracuse-Notre Dame game in South Bend, Ind.
Throughout the week, 42 NBCU brands are featuring 150-plus hours of environmentally themed programming across the company's television and digital platforms.
In prime time, seven NBC shows will feature green story lines including "Lipstick Jungle," "Kath & Kim," "My Own Worst Enemy," "Knight Rider," "Life," and "Law & Order".
