Per Nielsen, in the third quarter of 2008, more than 100 million U.S. consumers--42% of mobile subscribers--have video-capable cell phones. Some 10.3 million of those mobile consumers are watching
TV/video on their cell phones, an increase of 14% over 2Q. Not surprisingly, 65% of those watching are under the age of 35, compared to 35% for total mobile subscribers. Some 32% of mobile video
viewers are between 25 and 34 years old, and 18% are teens.
