Publicis Buys Chinese Agency

Publicis Groupe has expanded its Asian footprint, buying W&K Communications, a full-service agency in China, reports Adweek. The shop will be known as Leo Burnett Beijing Advertising and operate as part of Publicis' Chicago-based Burnett agency network. Executives Guo Weijun, chairman, and Wang Yi, managing director, remain in place. The agency's client list includes Air China and Tsingtao Beer.
