MediaDailyNews story on a possible SAG strike needs to be clarified: SAG held a meeting to discuss a strike
authorization ballot, which has yet to be sent out. (Per a SAG
press release today, Dec. 10, the ballots will be sent out January 2 and tallied on January 23.) Per a Bloomberg News story Dec. 9: "Leaders of the Screen Actors Guild asked members to vote for the
authorization during a meeting with union members that filled the 450-seat Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles late yesterday (Dec. 8). A similar event is scheduled for Dec. 17 in New York." The
strike authorization requires a 75% approval.
