2 Studios May Shoot Scripts Under AFTRA Deal

SAG leaders are pushing members for a strike authorization, which may explain why two major studios are threatening to put upcoming pilots under existing contracts with rival union American Federation of Television & Radio Artists, reports the Los Angeles Times. The two studios cited--Twentieth Century Fox TV and Warner Bros.--said they are "considering all options," including shooting shows under an AFTRA deal and sidestepping SAG.
