Sales Still Swooning, Chico's Taps New CEO

  • January 8, 2009
After more than a year of steady monthly sales declines--many in the double digits--Chico's FAS says it's named David F. Dyer president and CEO, replacing Scott A. Edmonds, who is retiring.

Myers, Fla.-based retailer--which targets older women and has been worn by such notables as Michelle Obama and Debbie Phelps, mother of swimming phenom Michael--says its comparable-store sales fell 12.4% in December.--Sarah Mahoney
