AdZone Says Online Spending is Up

Despite talk of a dot.com slow down, spending on the Internet has increased a significant 54% from January to June this year from $818,543,000 to $1,263,815,400, according to AdZone Interactive.

According to AdZone, in June, the top 10 brands alone spent $367 million with realnetworks.com leading all others at $103 million. Film.com was a distant second at $69.2 million. Again, AOL.com lead top spending websites in June, at $65 million in revenues with Yahoo.com following at $46 million and ebay.com at $32 million. Yahoo! Inc., Microsoft Corp., Lycos Inc. and America Online remained the top revenue generating Web Site Networks in June.
