Kohl's Kicks Off Seuss-A-Thon

  • January 19, 2009
To boost reading and its children's charities, Kohl's Corp. says it is kicking off a program that combines sales of $5 collector's editions of Dr. Seuss books with plush toys.

All profits from the promotion will go to its Kohl's Cares for Kids programs, including scholarships and health care initiatives. Books include I Can Read with My Eyes Shut, Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?, If I Ran the Zoo, and the 1937 classic, And To Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, Seuss's first children's book.

Plush animals are also included, with the Cat in the Hat expected to be among the favorites.--Sarah Mahoney
