Hearst TV Launches New Economic Series

Hearst-Argyle Television is kicking off a news series, "Project Economy," to appear throughout 2009. It will air on TV and online nationwide. Subjects include saving money, finding a job and local businesses trying to survive the economic downturn. All of the stations also will conduct job fairs, many in partnership with their respective state unemployment offices, in an effort to help their viewers and online users find jobs. H-A TV owns 26 TV stations, reaching 18% of U.S. television households. It also owns 30 Web sites and 19 digital multicast channels.
