  • January 21, 2009
InBev's Stella Artois is launching a film program with film-networking site TriggerStreet.com and TriggerStreet founder and actor Kevin Spacey. The award program, "The Stella Artois Short Film Project," is intended to help independent filmmakers with a $50,000 cash award chosen from among entrants who submit 10-minute films to TriggerStreet.com.

The films will be judged by TriggerStreet.com members and a panel of actors, directors and producers. The first winner will be unveiled and his/her short film will be premiered later this year.

The Stella Artois Short Film Project is open to any independent filmmaker in the United States. Entries can be submitted to TriggerStreet.com starting Monday. Ten finalists will be selected. The winning film will be considered for exposure at various independent film festivals throughout the year.--Karl Greenberg
