Keith E. Sirois has been named CEO of Warren, Mich.-headquartered Big Boy Restaurants International, the worldwide franchiser of Big Boy Restaurants in the U.S. and Japan.

Sirois was most recently president and CEO of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants. Checkers, which also operates Rally's restaurants, is the nation's largest double drive-through chain, offering a choice of driver-side or passenger-side service, according to QSR Magazine.

Checkers saw same-store sales gains during 15 of Sirois's 16 quarters as its top executive, and improved productivity and customer service with new technology and employee incentive/training programs.

Sirois's 35 years of experience also includes serving as VP, operations for Chicago-based fast-casual start-up chain Heartwise Express and in management roles at Old Country Buffet, Mrs. Fields Cookies and Taco Bell.--Karlene Lukovitz
