Users seeking news of late summer's hurricanes propelled The Weather Channel's Web site, Weather.com, to a new record of 29.76 unique monthly visitors and 846 million page views last month,
according to Nielsen//NetRatings. In September, the Web site also expanded its coverage to include on-scene report exclusives for the hurricane season.
