Conde Nast Delivers Ads Via Net-Based System

  • February 3, 2009
Conde Nast has adopted an Internet-based system for processing and delivering advertising designed by Quad/Graphics, according to the latter. Going forward, Quad/Graphics' AdShuttle technology will power an existing online portal called "Conde Nast Transmit," which allows advertisers and ad agencies to submit ads directly to Conde Nast's internal ad management and production systems. David Orlin, senior vice president for operations and strategic sourcing at Conde Nast, remarked: "Transmit has enabled us to streamline the process of receiving and handling ad materials from our advertisers and to develop one unified workflow for all Conde Nast magazines." About 60% of Conde Nast's ad clients have already begun using Transmit, the company said. --Erik Sass
