  • TRACEY WAGNER has been promoted to Sales Manager of the Regional Team at National Cable Communications, while JOE FELDMAN and ROBB ROTHFARB have joined NCC as Account Executives. Wagner joined NCC last October as an Account Executive. Feldman comes to NCC from Effective Media Services in Los Angeles, where he was Vice President/Director of Marketing since 1996. Rothfarb comes from the Katz Radio Group/Network Dimensions in Los Angeles, where he was a Senior Account Executive.

  • Arbitron Inc. announced that KARLA EYERLY has been promoted to the position of manager for Advertiser Marketing Services. In 2001 Eyerly accepted the role of national accounts manager with the brand new Advertiser Marketing Services group. Also at Arbitron, JULIE ELLIS is the new manager for Advertiser Agency Services. Ellis joins the AAS team after eight years with Metro Networks in sales development. Additionally, DANA BURLESON is the new client service representative for Advertiser Agency Services. Burleson was last at Arbitron’s Webcast division where he served for the last two years as a client service representative.

  • CHRIS GARRITY, 15-year veteran of the New York Times, has just been named VP of Advertising Sales at The New York Sun.

  • CHRISTOPHER J. NOLAN has joined Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) in the newly created position of Vice President/General Counsel. Most recently, Nolan was at Time Inc. where he was Assistant General Counsel since 1994 representing Sports Illustrated and Warner Publisher Services.

  • JEFF CARTER, long-time cable advertising veteran, will serve as President of Viamedia. Carter was previously the Group Vice President for AT&T Media Services' Group East division.

  • BRUCE BRAUN has joined 24/7 Real Media as Vice President of West Coast Technology Sales based in San Francisco.

  • JOEL MANBY has been appointed to Webvertising Inc’s Board of Directors. Manby became a Director of Webvertising in December, 2001.

  • LIZ KOMAN has been named senior vice president of AMC/WE: Women's Entertainment National Advertising Sales at Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO). Koman most recently was the senior vice president and general sales manager at USA Network.

  • JIM CONWAY has been named Vice President - Business Development at Aegis Communications Group, Inc. He most recently held sales and marketing management positions with Customer Access Point, Inc. and West Corporation.

  • THOMAS D. O’BOYLE has been named National Sales Manager for Ameritrust Cyber Technologies’ new Internet service company, 123ACT. O’Boyle previously held top positions at ABC Interactive, CMGI/Engage and GQ Magazine.

  • R.J. KIRKLAND has been appointed Forbes.com account manager, Southwest territory, based in Los Angeles. His sales territory includes all of southern California, Arizona and southern Nevada. Prior to joining Forbes.com, R.J. was the southwest regional sales manager at Yahoo! Inc.

  • CYNDY CELMER, formerly of AT&T Media Services in the Miami DMA, has joined Thompson Everett, Inc. as Director of New Business Development. Thompson Everett, Inc. is a Cable Buying Service located in Richmond, VA.

  • MICHAEL BELLAVIA has been appointed COO of ANIMAX Interactive, an advertising and entertainment production company. He was formerly in business development at Palomar Pictures, a commercial production company.

  • MARK TENENBAUM, formerly Media Manager at Adams Golf Inc. in Plano, Texas has recently joined RadioShack Corporation in Fort Worth as Director - Media Planning.

  • GARRET VREELAND, formerly Vice President of Advertising Sales for search portal Lycos, has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, National Sales at LookSmart.

  • BILL COLLIER has been appointed vice president of Regional Advertising Sales at Premier Retail Networks (PRN). Collier has more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing including stints at Catalina Marketing Corporation, PepsiCo, A.C. Nielsen and The Perrier Group of America. Also at PRN, MICHAEL HORNING has been named vice president, Regional Advertising Sales. Since 1996, Horning had worked for Enron, where he held positions at different business units including their Media Services, Global Services and Energy Services groups.
