  • The Network Radio Research Council (NRRC) re-elected DR. TOM EVANS, Senior Vice President, ABC Radio Networks, as Chair for another one-year term. In addition, LEN KLATT, Vice President and Director of Research of Premiere Radio Networks, was re-elected Vice Chair.

  • BOB PITTMAN is back in charge of AOL Time Warner's Internet business and BARRY SCHULER has been reassigned to a new division. Pittman, who now serves as Chief Operating Officer-elect, will take over at the helm of America Online in a role he held until the company's merger last year with Time Warner. Schuler, who has served as Chairman and Chief Executive of AOL since the merger, will now lead the new Home Networking Solutions and Digital Home Services division.

  • GABE JOHNSON was recently named Client Services Manager at Memetic Systems. He recently left Avenue A where he worked with select clients like Nike, Buy.com, and Park Place Entertainment.

  • CRAIG DENTON has joined WEBS Corporation, a retail automotive management software developer in Westlake Village, CA as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining WEBS, Denton served as Director of Client Services for Dynamics Direct, a rich media email marketing company.

  • CYNTHIA JANSEN has joined Visuality Media Productions in Madison, WI as Director of Development and Marketing. Previously, she was the General Sales Manager for both Channel3000.com and TheMilwaukeeChannel.com.

  • ALEC GERSTER, CEO of Grey Global Group's MediaCom, has been named CEO of Interpublic Group of Cos.' Initiative Media Worldwide. He replaces LOU SCHULTZ, who retired in January. Gerster spent most of his career at Grey, joining in 1972.

  • DAN FINNIGAN, President of Knight Ridder Digital, has left to become senior vice president of Yahoo! Inc. and executive vice president and general manager of HotJobs.com, which was acquired by Yahoo! in February.

  • ANNE HUNTER has been named to the newly created position of Director of Sales at Tacoda Systems. Before joining Tacoda Systems, Hunter was Director of Sales and Ad Operations at 24/7 Real Media.

  • MICHAEL J. LEVINE, formerly a senior sales and marketing executive at SFX Sports Group and The Marquee Group, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Van Wagner Communications' new Sports & Entertainment division.

  • MITCH JOEL has joined the Verrecchia Group Communications Inc. as an Account Director. Prior to joining the Verrecchia Group, Joel was the Director of Advertising & Sponsorship at Mamma.com - The Mother Of All Search Engines.

  • DAVE PEKTAS has been hired as the Associate Media Director on the Lincoln Mercury account at The Mediaedge: CIA Irvine.

  • DOUGLAS KILGOUR has been named Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Catuity, Inc. Kilgour was most recently Vice President for Financial Services at Xdrive Technologies He replaces Rob Kosnick, who has left the company.
