  • Comcast Spotlight has promoted DANA RUNNELLS to director of communications.


  • WARREN SMITH has been named director of sales, international on-demand licensing for NBC Universal Television International Distribution. Smith will handle on-demand licensing for NBC Universal's product outside of the U.S. and Canada, primarily European territories. Previously, Smith served as a senior legal & business affairs executive at FremantleMedia.


  • EMILIANNE SLAYDON has partnered with New York-based editorial boutique Northern Lights and design and VFX company Mr. Wonderful to handle new business development.


  • ALAN MAY has joined the Time Inc. Business & Finance Network as a senior sales development manager.


  • Photobucket has named KAREN KATZ as senior vice president of media development and PETER FOSTER as vice president of sales.


  • ZenithOptimedia has formed a multicultural unit called ZO Multicultural. ILIA LEON has been tapped as director, multicultural media, charged with leading strategic planning to penetrate ethnic segments within the US. Leon was most recently vp/managing director at WPP’s MosaicaMD.


  • Fallon Minneapolis has hired HANS HANSEN and rehired ERIC SORENSEN, both as creative directors. The creative team joins Fallon from Carmichael Lynch.


  • DRÉ LABRE has been promoted to creative director at Tribal DDB Canada.


  • CARRIE HART was named vicepresident, research of the Television Bureau of Advertising. Hart joins TVB from WCBS-TV in New York, where she was director of research since 2004. She previously served in the same capacity in Dallas-Fort Worth, first at KXAS-TV, NBC's owned-and-operated station, and then at KTVT-TV/KTXA-TV, CBS/UPN O&O.


  • The VIA Group has promoted CHRIS COTE, IAN DUNN and STEVE LACHANCE to associate creative directors.


  • Gearon Hoffman has named KATE LAPCHICK as an account executive. Lapchick will work on the Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Sandwich Shop accounts.


  • DraftFCB has restructured and named LAURENCE BOSCHETTO president and COO. BOB OATES, most recently the chief financial officer at Foote Cone & Belding Worldwide, is taking on the same role at Draft FCB. WALLY PETERSEN, chief communications officer at Draft, has taken on the same role at DraftFCB. TERESA FELLOWS, most recently the head of global operations at Draft, was named chief administrative officer for DraftFCB. RICHARD GAGNON, most recently president of FCB Media in the U.S., will take on a worldwide role as chief media officer.


  • TOM MOORHEAD has joined Mudd Advertising as vice president of new media. Moorhead is responsible for providing online marketing services to automotive dealers.


  • LIVA WOLF has been named director of affiliate development, JEFF SKAGGS has been hired as director of west coast sales and BRIAN KUPCHIK was named New York sales director of Broadband Enterprises.


  • SANDRA CARREON-JOHN has joined Madison Square Garden as vice president, sports team publicity.  She will develop and implement broad-based public relations plans for the Knicks, Rangers and Liberty. Most recently, as director, media relations at ESPN, she oversaw and implemented public relations activities for ESPN Enterprises.


  • TARA CAMPOMENOSI has joined Horizon Media’s West Coast office as account supervisor. Campomenosi comes to Horizon from Initiative Media, where she was most recently senior account manager. Campomenosi will work on the Harrah’s Entertainment business.


  • EPrize promoted BOB MARSH to vice president and managing director of the Detroit office, up from vice president of business development. Marsh will be responsible for all sales operations.


  • DAVE BOVENSCHULTE has been named the director of interactive services for iNDELIBLE Media. Most recently, he was the vice president/general manager for TV Guide Online.


  • DEBBIE JOHNSEN has joined Singer Direct, a division of Omnicom, as director of online media. Prior to joining Singer Direct, Johnsen was an associate director at BMG Direct, and most recently online marketing manager for RailEurope.com.


  • CraveOnline has named DAVID COHN, former vp of digital media sales for World Wrestling Entertainment, as senior vice president of advertising sales.


  • KARIN CAMPBELL has joined GJP Advertising as director of public relations. She was previously the director of corporate communications for Queue Communications, where she promoted the DDB Canada, Tribal DDB and Anderson DDB brands in Canada and internationally.


  • Rainbow Media has named MARLEA WILLIS as senior director of public relations for its national networks AMC and WE tv. Prior to joining Rainbow Media, Willis was the director of public relations for A&E Network and The Biography Channel. In addition, Rainbow Media promoted SEAN FASSETT to vice president of research for AMC and DANIEL MARCU to vice president of research for the Independent Film Channel. 


  • Jumpstart Automotive Media has promoted JASON SCOGGINS to senior vice president, marketing, a newly created position.


  • CLARE DAVIS has been named sales director for Metro New York. She previously served as advertising director at Life & Style Weekly.


  • Bankrate has appointed DONALDSON M. ROSS as senior vice president and chief revenue officer, replacing RICHARD STALZER, who is leaving Bankrate to take a position at Interactive Corp. In addition, MICHAEL RICCIARDELLI has joined the company as vice president, marketing, a newly created position.
