  • DDB New York named MINERVA GARCIA its first diversity director. Garcia has served in the DDB New York Human Resources Group since 1998.

  • WENDI S. BERGER has been named associate publisher advertising for Popular Science Media Group. Most recently, Berger was vice president, advertising sales at Kaboose Inc.

  • Zig hired RYAN WILSON as strategist. Most recently, Wilson served as senior account planner for Energy BBDO.

  • JOE WARREN joined MediaVest as senior vice president, group client director. Warren will serve as the overall strategic navigator for all Kraft brands in North America. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, planning director at Universal McCann.

  • STAR Marketing Services Group hired MATTHEW SINACORI as vice president, operations and business development.

  • AdMeld hired MICHAEL BARRETT as chief executive officer. He most recently served as executive vice president, chief revenue officer for Fox Interactive Media.


  • Rodale promoted ROBIN SHALLOW to senior vice president, corporate communications.

  • Syrup hired GUI BOCHERT and MARK LAUGHLIN as creative directors.

  • Modernista! hired MICHAEL WRIGHT as creative director. Wright was most recently senior art director at The Martin Agency, where he worked on Timberland, UPS, Olympus, the ESPN X-Games, NASCAR and The Miller Brewing Company.


  • Atmosphere BBDO hired JASON LUCAS as creative director, working on FedEx and a variety of other accounts. Prior to joining Atmosphere, he was the creative director at Deep Focus.

  • NORMAN SILVERBERG joined Worthpoint.com as vice president of media sales.Previously, he was director of ad sales at Register.com.

  • Canoe Ventures hired MICHAEL DAVIS as general counsel; VICKI LINS as chief marketing officer; and ARTHUR ORDUÑA as chief technology officer.


  • Saatchi & Saatchi LA hired MIKE MCKAY as executive creative director. He previously served as creative director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners.

  • SEAN MCCARTHY joined DDB Chicago as senior vice president, account director in charge of the newly acquired AT&T business. Prior to joining DDB, McCarthy was vice president, management director at DraftFCB in Chicago where he spent the last 12 years in different leadership roles. Most recently, he served as both domestic and global business leader for the Qwest, Dow Chemical and S.C. Johnson Wax clients.


  • Jun Group named JASON WOLFF as director of media sales. Most recently, he served as senior account executive at Spiral Frog.

  • MATT SCHULTE, formerly of Glam, iVillage and Dow Jones is now the national director of digital sales at Wenner Media.


  • LANCE JOHNSON was named global head of sales for Nokia Interactive Advertising, where he is responsible for driving mobile advertising growth, education and sales. Previously, he was a business consultant to Viacom and Amdocs.


  • Sundance Channel named MALA CHAPPLE vice president of original programming and production.

  • 90octane promoted LESLIE RUSSELL and SEAN VOORHIES to senior marketing coordinators.


  • DAVE DAMMAN is returning to Fallon as a group creative director. Damman worked for Fallon from 1999 to 2005, after which he went on to co-found his own agency, Damman Pearce.


  • Anderson DDB Health & Lifestyle named TONY MILLER as executive creative director. Miller joins the agency from Smith Roberts Creative Communications, where he served as creative director.
