  • Doug Schiff

    DigitasLBi hired Doug Schiff as executive creative director/executive vice president of the Boston and Detroit offices. Schiff will be based in Boston and report to Ronald Ng, chief creative officer of DigitasLBi North America. In his new role, Schiff will head up all creative work for Boston and Detroit, working with clients like Dunkin' Donuts, General Motors and Goodyear. Most recently, he was executive creative director of OgilvyOne China, overseeing Beijing and Shanghai. Schiff also served on Ogilvy's Asia Creative Council and OgilvyOne's Worldwide Creative Council. Schiff began his career at Leo Burnett in Chicago, and from there he went overseas: first to Dentsu's Tokyo office, and then onto JWT's Singapore office. He then returned stateside and worked at FCB's San Francisco headquarters on Levi's, Kikkoman and various IT clients. "Doug approaches every challenge with thoughtful, creative ingenuity," said Ng. "As a leader loved by clients and trusted by his teams, we are lucky to have him join an already strong creative cast. I can't wait for Doug to bring his global perspective to all our clients' brands."

    Trilia Media, a Hill Holliday agency, hired Cynthia Glasbrenner as senior vice president, group media director. Glasbrenner joins Trilia from MEC, where she was partner and senior director, managing all media activities and client relationships across digital, video, display, search, mobile, broadcast and OOH for a range of clients. She has also held senior digital positions at Edelman, Mediacom and Digitas, and spent seven years on the client side at Coca-Cola. "Cynthia is an impressive leader in the industry with a diverse background in both the agency and client side," said Cindy Stockwell, president of Trilia Media. "She's extremely well positioned to lead our growth and continue our strong performance in integration and client service as clients look for an effective and trusted partner in this complex media landscape."

    CP+B LA promoted Kevin Jones to chief creative officer. In his new role, Jones will lead the LA creative department and the work created for PayPal, NBA 2K and Charles Schwab. Jones will also handle creative on global work for Infiniti, which is in the process of moving from CP+B Boulder to CP+B LA in an effort to be closer to the Infiniti Design Center teams. Since 2014, Jones served as executive creative director, leading creative for the "Be the Story" campaign starring Spike Lee for NBA 2K16. Jones also led the winning pitch for the global PayPal account. Jones joined CP+B from Wieden+Kennedy where he spent most of the past 20 years working on numerous high-profile campaigns. His work has won him back-to-back Emmys for the Chrysler Eminem Super Bowl spot and the P&G Olympic spot "Best Job." Jones also created award-winning campaigns for Dodge, Coke, Nike, Target and T-Mobile. "Kevin's brilliant without being crazy or a prima donna, and he understands exactly what makes great work," said Chuck Porter, Chairman, CP+B. "We're currently attempting to clone him."
  • Jose “Pepe” Aguilar

    Wing, Grey's agency focused on Hispanic consumers, hired Jose "Pepe" Aguilar as chief creative officer. Aguilar brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role, including 13 years at Grey. He joined Grey in 2003 as group creative director of Grey Mexico. Three years later, he was appointed general creative director of Maruri Grey Ecuador. In 2010, Aguilar was named general creative director of Grey Peru and in 2012, he returned to Grey Mexico as creative vice president. Throughout his career, Aguilar has worked with clients including Coca Cola, Ford, Gerber, Bacardi, GlaxoSmithKline, Heineken, Honda, Kimberly Clark, Nike, Nestle, Novartis, P&G, Sony and Walmart, among others. "Pepe Aguilar is a highly respected, incredibly talented creative leader and team builder," said Sandra Alfaro managing director of Wing. Prior to MRY, Weinstock served as a creative lead at Euro RSCG on Dos Equis' "Most Interesting Man in the World" campaign, along with Kraft and Reckitt Benckiser. "David is one of those creatives that simply gets it. He gets that the future of creativity is inherently tied to ones and zeros," said Matt Rednor, CEO and founder of Decoded.
