Outside VP Marketing

As the Director of Marketing at Outside, Sam oversees all aspects of the marketing efforts behind all of Outside's platforms and mediums, including print, digital, social, podcast, and events. He also oversees the creation of all custom content for the brand and has produced award-winning branded content videos and multi-media custom programs.
 
Sam has a long history with Outside, and first started working for the brand on the editorial side in 1999. He's also been an editor at Skiing and Canoe & Kayak magazines. Before stepping into his current marketing role, he was an executive editor at Outside.
