In a surprise move, the National Association of Broadcasters Thursday indicated support of new legislation introduced by Senator Conrad Burns to create a law regulating television audience ratings.
The Senate bill, along with companion legislation introduced in the House, is expected to be the subject of a Congressional hearing on Wednesday. -- J.M.
