Walt Disney's ABC and Buena Vista Home Entertainment have struck a marketing deal with Nissan USA for the first season DVD release of "Desperate Housewives." The deal brings Nissan on as an
advertiser in season two of the show. For the DVD release, called "Desperate Housewives: The Complete First Season," Nissan will sponsor a bonus feature, entitled "Dressing Wisteria Lane." The car
company will get a credit title card--"Brought to you by Nissan"--that will follow the feature.
Nissan will also have a print ad insert included in the packaging of the "Desperate
Housewives" DVD, which will feature its 35OZ Roadster. A national radio campaign and on-air billboards for Nissan's sponsorship of the DVD release will be part of the campaign.
