The original "Partridge Family" ran on ABC from 1970-74. Now, reports
Variety, Reveille and Geffen Records have teamed with original "Partridge" format rights holder, Sony Pictures TV, to
develop a new version of the series--although, given the changes in the music business, it will bear little resemblance to the Seventies show. The project is being pitched this week.
