Super Bowl Will Draw Significant Streaming Audience

According to AdTaxi's survey, the upcoming Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is likely to have a significant streaming audience. Almost a third (30%) of people who plan to watch the NFL championship game said they will stream it, compared with 29% of cable TV viewers and 26% of broadcast viewers.

Many viewers will watch the game while looking at another digital screen, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The portion of U.S. adults who said they plan to “second-screen” has grown from 46% last year to 52% this year. More than a third (36%) of respondents will use social media, while 15% will check out sports websites, the survey found.
