A study by Boston Consulting Group found many CMOs worldwide have already adopted some kinds of AI, and are generally optimistic that generative AI will be positive for their work.

“What is surprising is how deeply and extensively CMOs are exploring GenAI’s transformative power, benefits and potential risks,” according to the firm. “Our survey revealed that CMOs are rapidly redefining the baselines for speed, efficiency and quality in a wide range of marketing tasks.”
