Most Parents Feel OK About Teen Usage Of Generative AI

According to a study by the Family Online Safety Institute, when it comes to generative AI, parents are generally optimistic about how their teenage children will use it. About two-thirds of parents in the United States, Germany and Japan said they feel positive about their teens’ using generative AI.

The biggest concerns about the technology among parents include job loss, the spread of false information, loss of critical thinking skills, AI’s surpassing humans and a growing dependency on generative AI.
