• Sid Lee Taps Levin For U.S. CCO Duties
    Montreal-based ad agency Sid Lee, part of Hakuhodo DY Holdings’ kyu collective, has promoted Cam Levin to the newly created post of Chief Creative Officer, Sid Lee U.S.A. Levin will be responsible for the company’s three U.S. offices in Seattle, New York and L.A. Those offices include firms within the Sid Lee U.S. operations—Digital Kitchen, Infrared, Red Peak, Hornall Anderson and flagship agency Sid Lee. Previously Levin was Chief Creative Officer at Digital Kitchen, which he joined in April.   • WPP's Landor Taps Hallberg To Lead Its NY Creative Studio
    WPP global brand consultancy Landor has appointed Jonas Hallberg executive creative director for its New York office. With more than 20 years of experience in design, marketing and business development, Hallberg will head the New York creative studio, reporting to Gabriel Miller, president of the Americas. Hallberg co-founded both marketing consultancy Shiver and sports and entertainment property Fightball. He also served with agencies Vitro, Skinny NYC and Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners.

    DeVito/Verdi has appointed Preeya Vyas as Chief Strategy And Innovation Officer. She departs Saatchi & Saatchi New York, where she most recently served as Chief Experience Officer.  This marks the second major hire by DeVito/Verdi in recent weeks following last month's hiring of Erin Boyer as chief marketing officer.

  • VaynerMedia's New Chief Strategy Officer
    VaynerMedia has appointed Wanda Pogue Chief Strategy Officer. Pogue will oversee strategy across the agency’s global offices in New York, Los Angeles, London and Singapore and report to CEO and co-founder Gary Vaynerchuk. Pogue was most recently Chief Strategy Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi New York.  She succeeds Justine Bloome who left the agency earlier this year.  Pogue is the latest appointment to VaynerMedia’s global leadership team, following the announcement of Rob Lenois joining the agency as Chief Creative Officer last week.

    BSSP has appointed Chris Cummings as Chief Strategy Officer to lead strategy, communications planning and performance marketing teams at BSSP. He replaces long time CSO, Edward Cotton, who left the agency to start his own consultancy. Cummings departs BBDO New York, where he most recently led strategy on Mountain Dew, Lay’s, General Electric, as well as global Visa, Bacardi, and Grey Goose accounts.
