Danone's Media Exec Dares To Be Good

Behind the Scenes with MK Woltz

Danone's MK Woltz talks about paving her own way, looking for different grass- not greener, and her entrepreneurial spirit.

I've had the opportunity to connect with and learn from executives of major brands at MediaPost's Insider Summits. In the process I've discovered some truly impressive women -- not only for the work they do, but their stories behind the scenes. With Brand Insider: BTS, I get to pull back the curtain on some of the most influential women marketers as they talk about their path to success: the twists and turns, obstacles, inspirations and the valuable lessons learned along the way.

I was like, "oh my gosh, I don't think I'm ever going to survive this!" The "this" was MK Woltz's new position at Danone, where, now five years later, she is the CPG brand's director of media connections. Prior to Danone, she had exclusively worked on the agency side, so this unchartered opportunity brought her out her comfort zone. Something, as MK reveals in this episode of Brand Insider: BTS, she continually strives for. She also opens up about her evolving work/life balance, her fondness for jingles, and that thing she has to do every day no matter what. Can you guess what it is? You can watch the entire conversation here:
