Aalap Shah is a co-founder of SoMe Connect, a Chicago digital marketing agency that provides search, content, and social to middle-market and established brands. Prior to his role at SoMe, Aalap Shah worked at Deloitte as a consultant and obtained his CPA. In addition to his interest in digital marketing and social, Aalap previously owned a pair of specialty toy stores in the suburbs of Chicago and launched & sold his first online business at the age of 16. Outside of SoMe, Aalap Shah is involved in #STEM education with his role as a board member on the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy and as a member of the e-council on Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship. Aalap attended DePaul University and has a bachelors in accounting & e-commerce technology.
