Taco Bell, Red Bull Turn To VTubers To Drive Brand Marketing

Taco Bell, Red Bull and Marvel have tapped into the next big thing in content creation, Vtubers.

VTubers are content creators who adopt virtual personas to deliver content worldwide. Cover Corp. has created a community for its 86 VTubers, while aligning with top brands.

In Japan alone, these creators have reached celebrity-status levels, each having gained millions of subscribers on their respective YouTube channels.

Household brands in the U.S. have taken note.

Taco Bell partnered with Cover's Streamy Awarded VTuber, Gawr Guar to promote the comeback of their beloved Nacho Fries during the Tokyo Olympics.

Red Bull is utilizing the company's talent to help enhance visibility and awareness in Japan. The tie helped Red Bull sell out its merch online. In addition, Minato Aqua and Shishiro Botan were tapped as Redbull ambassadors here.

For the upcoming release of "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire," Cover's Houshou Marine will be a guest voice actor in the Japanese dub.
