Cheetah Digital Spotlight Presentation
CPG brands don’t know their customers. Or rather, they might know who their customers are, but they don’t have the opt-ins, behavioral and preference data to know what inspires them to take action or purchase nor be able to connect with them directly.
Unlocking direct-to-consumer relationships is not just about finding an additional sales channel. It's how forward-thinking CPG brands can deliver experiences over interruptions, move away from cookie tracking and third-party data, and power marketing from self-reported data.

Understanding Consumers in a Volatile, No-Touch World
Today, people live on the internet: with fewer real-life interactions, time on social media has skyrocketed, and social commerce has become a priority to brands overnight. With loyalty and trust already in decline, the pandemic has accelerated this. Trends seemingly emerge from the blue, and digital tribes have become the most powerful source of influence. This new world demands new tools for insight.
This short talk will touch base on challenges facing consumer research, the role of real-time AI-enabled consumer intelligence in filling the gap, and examples of brands using new tools to double down on digital transformation and adapt their research during the pandemic.
