Best Western developed a custom interactive app branded with Disney Channel's Teen Beach 2. The app aimed to provide an interactive experience at the hotels. Guests launched the content in the app by interacting on their smartphones with image of Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell. Augmented reality let guests take selfies with Teen Beach 2 stars, play a character personality quiz, and gain access to Disney Channel content. There were more than 15,000 app downloads; reaching more than 800,000 people through social-sharing; 425,000 sweepstakes entries.

SapientNitro helped Philadelphia Cream Cheese in Brazil create a cooking app, teaching fans how to prepare recipes with the cream cheese. Not just any app. One with voice controls that let users say an ingredient to explore different recipes, go back and forth through recipes with voice command. It lets users share recipes on social media, make notes and use a timer while cooking. The app garnered 150,000 downloads and 20,000 recipe shares. Consumers spent an average of nine minutes on the platform.

Branded Gaming App: Heineken Brewlock by CKSK for Heineken USA
To inform and excite users on Heineken's new innovative Brewlock technology, CKSK developed a consumer education platform leveraging augmented reality. By pointing their phone with the app enabled at key Brewlock materials in bar, users were able to find codes that lead to prizes like apple gear or brewery trips to Amsterdam. This combination of fresh marketing and consistency in value is why users are still logging into over now 6K Brewlock enabled bars across the country.

A simple, yet innovative idea, removes the travel time to visit a doctor, wait in the waiting room, and then get rushed through the visit. The Heal app lets patients request a doctor. The co-pay of $99 for in app or out of network visits is available in Los Angeles today, and soon in San Francisco and San Diego.

Fuzz created Y-MVP, which allows users to create customized workout "playlists" drawn from over 150 cardio, strength, cross-training and flexibility activities; they can also take on challenges with playlists from YMCA coaches and other members of the community. Many of the exercises are designed to be doable anywhere, with no equipment. Along the way users can earn badges that recognize their achievements.

Picpal is a photo collage chat app used mostly by teens and young Millennials. It allows for simultaneous photo collages between up to three friends who are in separate locations. Users can add filters and text to build visual chats with a group. Picpal then combines these images into one, updatable collage that users can share across their social media accounts if they choose. It offers semi-private yet sharable content that is only publically shareable on their terms.

Lufthansa created an Apple Watch app with help from SapientNitro to help travelers through their journey, from airport to inflight to their final destination. The app displays up to date information on the state of the flight, information on security screenings, and how to find the lounges and boarding gates. The app launched in tandem with the Apple Watch in Germany. Since the release date, travelers downloaded the app more than 1.900.000 times, up 655% compared to the daily average.

The Vegas VR mobile app gives users 360-degree panoramic videos ranging from top culinary stops, popular nighttime activities and hotel tours. The app is compatible with Google Cardboard or tray-based headsets. The participant uses touch and gyroscope to control the videos, which can be shared through Facebook, Twitter or email.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, The Minneapolis Institute of Art created an app for use in the museum that helps visitors navigate through the its massive collection in a streamlined, manageable manner. Mia Journeys App gives users creative control, allowing them to select a “journey” throughout the museum to the pieces of art of their choice. Once selected, the app guides the user to each piece and offers additional information about the work directly in front of them.
