Lufthansa created an Apple Watch app with help from SapientNitro to help travelers through their journey, from airport to inflight to their final destination. The app displays up to date information on the state of the flight, information on security screenings, and how to find the lounges and boarding gates. The app launched in tandem with the Apple Watch in Germany. Since the release date, travelers downloaded the app more than 1.900.000 times, up 655% compared to the daily average.
