The Innovation Imperative: Building The Next Dining Experience

Necessity is the mother of innovation. The dining industry met this crisis year by imagining new ways to bring diners together with their food, to reach customers in unexpected places, to refresh menus with new product flows, to connect and align brands with the needs of communities. Innovation kicked into high gear, but where did it leave us? Have QSR and fast casual brands reimagined the dining experience for the 2020s?

MediaPost's QSR Brand Insider Summit leans forward into the post-pandemic decade to explore which innovations of the last year will stick and even point the way forward to a truly omnichannel fast dining customer experience?

We will explore:

  • How is innovation becoming a part of brand identity?
  • What does a delivery marketing strategy look like?
  • How can a challenger brand break through the clutter?
  • How can CRM and loyalty programs drive the next generation of cusotmer experience?
  • What does the QSR media plan look like now?

2021 is the year that innovation became central to the identity of fast dining brands. At the Spring edition of the QSR Brand Insider Summit we take the next steps. Standing still is not an option.

“MediaPost's virtual conference was the BEST virtual conference I have attended.  You guys always do a great job with your in-person events, but the virtual format is challenging for sure and it flowed well, had good content and was informative without being boring or dry. Thank you!

Panel: The Innovation Imperative: Inventing The Next Omnichannel Experience
The dining sector had no choice this year but to innovate itself out of a once-in-a-century crisis. From rapid fire product development to novel uses of loyalty programs, new twists on delivery to redefining digital CX; the brands that will survive and thrive in the years ahead are reinventing the next era of omnichannel experience. We ask our panel of marketers to explore beyond the last year and explain which of their changes point the way forward. And how will these companies change the role and process of innovation now that they have all been stress tested?

Third party delivery is the most radical disruption of dining industry marketing since the Internet itself; with new third parties inserted between marketers and their customers. Our panel shares what delivery marketing strategies look like now. What is working best: in leveraging the delivery partners' own in-app opportunities?
