
Scotiabank’s loyalty program SCENE, a partnership with Cineplex Entertainment, serves 3.5 million customers who have a debit or Visa card. To encourage card use and educate customers in the value of bank cards in accelerating rewards, the bank created an anniversary program. It utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud to automate emails with scrolling data narrative containing 60 data points and 62 images. This resulted in a 69% unique open rate. In addition, 56% spent more than 15 seconds reading the email and 94% liked their summary.
