Provide Commerce, Inc. (RedEnvelope, ProFlowers, Shari'sBerries) - Social Media Director

 
The Director of Social Media will have the rare opportunity to take our flourishing social and content programs to the next level for our successful consumer retail brands.  This individual will deepen our customer relationships, expand our reach and create highly innovative integrated experiences. At their disposal will be a significant budget, a dedicated team of social media professionals, robust content resources and a broader organization focused on social success.

You are an innovative thought leader capable of inspiring and driving an organization to social success. You have a clear point of view which you can articulate and support. You can naturally build strategic partnerships and navigate through change. Most of all, you are intellectually curious and are passionate about everything consumer retail or ecommerce. 


How you will make an impact:

  • Strategically partner with organizational leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement an effective, unique and scalable social media strategy for each of our brands. This means working collaboratively with teams like SEO, Site Optimization, IT, Creative, PR and other to define, plan, co-ordinate and QA onsite deployments of tools, applications, buttons, etc.
  • Demonstrate success in large scale social media experiences devised to increase brand awareness, brand differentiation, loyalty and ultimately advocacy.
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing reporting model to gauge the effectiveness and ROI of our social media activities. This includes establishing specific metrics for measurement inclusive of revenue, brand awareness and social specific KPIs.
  • Coach, mentor and develop a team of marketers.  Provide responsive leadership that allows the team to move forward confidently and efficiently in their decisions.
  • Define our vendor needs, actively onboard and manage best-in-class partners.
  • Support the acquisition marketing strategy, branding strategy and additional marketing activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.


Skills and experience you will leverage:

  • 4-year college degree from accredited institution/equivalent experience. Emphasis in marketing, business or communication preferred.
  • 5-8 years experience in online marketing with preferably 2-4 years hands-on, dedicated experience with enterprise level social media campaigns.
  • Fundamental understanding of what works in social and what doesn’t.
  • Established relationships with influencers, vendors and larger partners (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Experience with social and analytics software including facebook Insights, Radian 6, Omniture and others.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing the evolving needs of SEO, Content and Social.
  • Self-starter/motivator who enjoys a challenge and relishes even small wins.
