MEDIA SALES ASSISTANT

Red Clay Media, a highly-successful, small media rep firm in Atlanta, is looking for an experienced, ambitious, part-time Media Assistant to work 20 hours a week.  Exact days and times can be discussed.

The assistant will be responsible for supporting the Southeast Director in the integrated sales process for multiple magazines and websites.

Job Duties

• Prepares presentations, data, proposals and materials for client sales calls and manager travel 


• Fields and responds to varied client requests

• Perform meeting administrative tasks

• Assists with budget management, competitive tracking and database management


• Coordinates client entertainment, books travel arrangements and prepares expense reports for manager.



• Prepare and execute client mailings for upcoming advertising opportunities and relationship management

• General administrative support such as:  phone coverage, filing, expenses, ordering office supplies, calendar and contact database management, travel arranging

Qualifications

•  Prefer if candidatehas previous experience working in media (both print and digital)

• MUST be organized and detail orientated

• Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint required

• Adapts to and performs well in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Handles multiple projects skillfully by setting priorities and meeting

deadlines

• Possesses exceptional work ethic and a commitment to high-quality deliverables with a high attention to detail

• Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills with

clients at all levels

• Possesses strong analytical and quantitative skills
