IAB - Senior Manager, Member Relations

The Interactive Advertising Bureau is seeking a Senior Manager of Member Relations. This pivotal role within the Membership team is responsible for member engagement and retention. The successful candidate will think strategically and creatively in developing initiatives to best engage IAB members by creating value and identifying personalized ways of communicating IAB services, products and other offerings.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Membership, the Senior Manager, Member Relations will be at the forefront of the interactive advertising industry, serving as a day-to-day resource for our membership as well as ensuring the activity of IAB members is optimally beneficial to both parties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • New Member Engagement calls and meetings; reengagement of members who are not optimally involved or wish to obtain further involvement
  • Serve as primary staff contact for all membership issues or questions
  • Responsible for all aspects of membership CRM database; boost data integrity and track member engagement metrics
  • Oversee the distribution and use of member engagement data to Committee and Council leads
  • Support Senior Director of Membership on all aspects of dues invoicing and collection
  • Program and carry out educational webinars for our membership and the industry
  • Keep abreast of industry development and member movement via industry trades, Committees and Councils, conferences, etc. to follow industry trends and company and member moves
  • Work with Marketing on member communications
  • Obtain and manage relationships with industry partners

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience in the digital advertising or media industries with functional experience in account management, marketing, strategy, project management, sales, or business development
  • Polished communication skills including written and verbal
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Database experience not required, but preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills is a must- especially PowerPoint and Excel
