FreeWheel - Advisory Product Associate

The New York-based Advisory Product Associate will be responsible for driving client engagements through program management, tactical guidance and product expertise to ensure FreeWheel product optimization and embedding of best practices. The Product Associate will be part of the Advisory Services team, which supports premium publishers and distributors with practical, actionable recommendations that deliver tangible results designed with one objective in mind: to make their professional content business more profitable. The Advisory Services Product Associate will report to Director, Advisory Services based in Houston, TX.

• Provide hands-on guidance and expertise to FreeWheel customers, managing client and FreeWheel teams as clients integrate the FreeWheel technology with their various systems, including other ad servers, video players, CMS/CDNs and technology partners
• Work across multiple clients concurrently, outlining timelines, updating clients with milestone accomplishments and ultimately providing recap success presentations
• Provide strong thought leadership and presence across large, premium clients, from Executive team to day-to-day FreeWheel product suite users
• Frequent travel may be required. Up to 10-20%

• 3 -5 years experience with media publisher, technology vendor or video-centric company
• Foundation in technology with an strong understanding of web, mobile, OTT platforms
• General understanding and excitement around the online video business, the TV and cable industry and the challenges facing both the industry, content owners and distributors
• Strong Project/Program Management experience and organizational skills
• Ability to manage yourself against a robust workload with multiple concurrent projects and tight deadlines, from engagement design through execution
• Passion for learning new products, ideas and systems quickly, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into tactical, executable outputs that help clients meet their strategic goals
• Experience with ad server and/or order management technologies
• Superb verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS degree required
